There was a time when I was afraid to ask. I simply believed everything that was thrown at me. I didn’t dare to question. Simply put, my self-confidence was short in supply.
Then I started reflecting: are they really right? How can that be? Surely not! Self-confidence was at an all time high, but the problem was that I was arrogant.
Finally I realized that I was right to question: but only if I also tried to understand their point of view. My self-confidence was optimal: a right balance between self-righteousness and humility.
