“The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new lands but in seeing with new eyes.” ~Marcel Proust

Welcome to the The Mindful Nepali, an initiative about self-discovery through the values of minimalism, simplicity, and intentional living.

The essays comprise of a series of weekly reflections of an ordinary guy trying to make meaning out of this beautiful, yet sometimes chaotic world.

Both the website design and the writings are simple on purpose. They reflect the values of minimalism- having no more than is really needed.

The Mindful Nepali champions conscious living by:

  • Understanding the self: knowing both the strengths and flaws of oneself
  • Knowing what’s truly important and hence being able to prioritize and say no to what’s superfluous
  • Striving for a fulfilling life and not settling for what simply befalls or just because the majority think it is the way it should be.

If there’s just one value the Mindful Nepali could offer you, it would probably be reflecting on your own life and discerning what is it that’s truly important for you.
