No luggages? Seriously!?

There was a hint of surprise at how I was traveling to Indonesia for a week with no luggages but just a hand carry- a regular bag I use everyday.

I had everything I needed- clothes, a slipper, toiletries, a good book (How Will You Measure Your Life by Clayton M. Christensen) and travel documents. Why the surprise then?

Was it because I opted to stick only to what was really needed and not all that I would have liked to take with me?

As Leo Babauta says, “When you travel lightly, you’re freer, less burdened, less tired. This applies to life. Not just travel.”
